Such is the discourse of our current run-and-gun, shoot-first, TwitbookIstaTikTok social media era.īut, I’d like to ask most of us who grew up in the 1970s, or in my case those confusing 1980s where androgyny, gender and homophobia met at some awkward intersection and the letters “A-I-D-S” added a large spectre of fear, a question: Were any of us without sin? Now they are definitely going to be those who will say that Obama may get a “woke pass” because of these revelations.
